What makes spa design different
You are selling a feeling. The design has to deliver it before the booking.
A spa competes on trust and atmosphere as much as on its menu. Guests compare a few options on their phone in minutes, and the one that looks calm, safe and premium usually wins the booking — even before anyone reads the prices.
For Teaspa, a Chinese-owned massage chain with locations across Maryland, we paired the calm of tea with the restorative feel of a spa, and built one emotionally consistent brand language so that a guest who finds the website on Google and a guest who walks into any location feel the same thing. For Crystal SPA in Virginia, the website had to match an in-person reputation and make booking effortless. For AMATA, a meditation center in Maryland, restraint was the message.
We don't write treatment claims into your brand. Spa and wellness marketing works best, and stays safest, when it describes the experience, the space and the people honestly.
What we design
Every touchpoint a guest sees
- 01
Brand identity
Logo, color, type and a graphic language that feels calm and premium, with guidelines every location can follow.
- 02
Service menu design
Menus that are easy to scan, online and printed: durations, prices and add-ons laid out so guests can choose quickly.
- 03
Booking websites
Mobile-first websites built around your booking platform, so the path from first impression to appointment is short.
- 04
In-store graphics
Signage, reception, room and wayfinding graphics that carry the brand into the space.
- 05
Packaging & retail
Gift cards, product packaging and take-home items that guests keep and share.
- 06
Multi-location consistency
One system for every location, so opening the next one is faster and every store looks like the same brand.

Checklist
Is your spa website losing bookings?
Open your site on your phone and check these. Each one is a common reason guests leave without booking.
- The book button is visible without scrolling on the homepage and on every service page.
- Prices and durations are on the menu. Guests who can't find them often book elsewhere.
- Photos show your real rooms and team, not stock images that could be any spa.
- Each location has its own page with address, hours, parking and a map.
- Gift cards are easy to find and buy — they matter most before holidays.
- The site and the store look like the same brand. Mismatched colors and logos erode trust.
- Wording describes the experience, not medical outcomes, unless a licensed provider stands behind it.
Pricing
Quoted per project
A website refresh for one location and a full rebrand for a growing chain are different projects. After a short call we send a clear scope and quote.
- Scope — brand, website, or both together.
- Number of locations — and how many location pages and signage sets are needed.
- Booking setup — working with your existing booking platform or choosing one.
- Photography and content — whether new photos and copy are needed.
- Print and in-store items — menus, gift cards, signage and packaging.
FAQ
Spa and wellness design questions
Have you worked with spas before?
Yes. We built the brand identity for Teaspa, a massage and spa chain in Maryland, designed the website for Crystal SPA in Virginia, and refreshed the identity of AMATA, a meditation center in Maryland.
Can you work with our current booking system?
Yes. We design the website around the booking platform you already use, so guests move from the site to the booking step without feeling they have left your brand. If you are choosing a new platform, we can help compare options.
Do you design for med spas?
Yes, we design brands and websites for med spas as well as day spas and wellness centers. Any clinical or results-based claims on the site should come from your licensed providers; we design and structure that content clearly and keep the rest of the wording about the experience.
We have several locations. Can the brand work for all of them?
That is exactly what a brand system is for. Teaspa's identity was designed to unify multiple locations, and it supported three more openings after the rebrand.
Can you design our menu, gift cards and signage too?
Yes. Menus, gift cards, packaging and in-store signage are part of our spa projects, so the experience feels the same online and in person.
Can the website be in English and Chinese?
Yes. Our team is bilingual and we build English and Chinese sites with a one-click switch, which helps spas that serve both communities.
How long does a spa website take?
The Crystal SPA website took six weeks from brand audit to launch. A rebrand plus website usually takes longer; we set the timeline in the scope.
